Question: What does the data you collect suggest to you about college life?
The Time Diaries show that most of the people I interviewed go to class, hang out, do homework, and eat. Some people had club meetings and other people went to the gym, but most of their time is spent on either classes and classwork or friends. There was a lot of "hanging out" or relaxing between classes. I think the photos show the most about college life. In Picture 1, the one wall is filled with postcards from around the world, so the person is obviously very interested in traveling. The picture frame on the opposite wall has pictures of the student on a trip to a foreign country, reinforcing the idea that the student loves to travel. Picture 2 is a boy's dorm, which you can tell by the color scheme. You can tell the person is messy, likes Fruit Loops, and enjoys music (there's a stereo on the desk). The inhabitant of the dorm room in Picture 3 likes Star Trek and Sci-Fi because he has the posters on the walls. I think these photos show how college life is different to each person. It's a jumble of personalities and personal choices.
